O.N.E. Yoga

This yoga class series provides participants, whether beginners or experienced, an opportunity to experience therapeutic exercise based on classic Hatha Yoga practice, including restorative poses, taught in a flow pace. Dr. Yusuf Quddus integrates Osteopathic philosophy and medical knowledge with more than 30 years of yoga practice to promote optimal health for class participants.

Mercy's Pilates mat class is designed to offer the student an opportunity to explore and develop internal connections to their own strength and organization, and to learn more about the classic Pilates repertory. The class relies on an ability to focus inwards and provides an opportunity to challenge new discoveries with strengthening exercises of varying complexity.

Light Vinyasa is a flowing practice. Meditation in movement. In this class we will drop deeply into our body, mind, spirit unity and using the principles of Anusara slignment, flow through the asanas. We will strengthen and stretch our bodies in order to make the container stronger for freeing the soul.

Beginning Hatha Yoga

Years of chronic pain from 2 car accidents and major health issues led Rachel on a journey to heal. Rachel began studying Iyengar yoga in 1990. Since then she has broadened her studies to include Vinyasa, restorative, Ananda Seva, Bikram and most recently TriYoga. Tibetan Buddhist meditation has also become a prominent resource for inner transformaton whch Rachel believes is the source for outer healing and health. Yoga classes with Rachel will cover Hatha basics, focusing on the breath and include meditation.
