Community ritual for supporting the transformation of grief into compassion, fear into love and separation into celebration!
with Kari
Stettler and Stefanie Schulte
Inspired by the teachings of Joanna Macy we introduce the five elements of The Work that Reconnects: gratitude, feeling our love and despair for the world, seeing with new eyes, deep time and going forth. Theoretical concepts are integrated with experiential exercises that draw on our personal stories, creativity and imagination.
The Work that Reconnects is a holistic, living framework that welcomes spontaneous and unique contributions of each person within the group. Interactive exercises enable us to tap into our “interbeing” where we find the gifts of recognition and remembering. By seeing ourselves through the eyes of another we access a deeper love and sense of interconnectedness. Glimpses of our authentic self and what we each have to offer can shine through.
“Grief is the garden of compassion” ~ Rumi
Supported by the group we lift the veil of grief that covers our love. Sometimes this happens through laughter, sometimes through song or movement. At other times it takes tears to wash away what no longer serves us. In the freshness of the moment we release the old to invite in the new. You will leave refreshed!
